Why Did God Create Us


   I will like to start by pointing out a similar question asked in the Bible by king David in psalm8:3-4 "When I consider thy  heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon  and the stars, which thou hast ordained;What is man, that thou art mindful of him?  and the son of man, that thou visitest him?
    Back to the question why did God create us? God who created the heavens and earth with everything in it  needed no human hands to serve him according to Acts17:24-25 "God that made the world and all things  therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven  and earth, dwelleth not in temples made  with hands;Neither is worshipped with  men’s hands, as though he needed any  thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and  breath, and all things;"
   He didn't make us inother not to be bored or lonely long before we were created he had company Gen1-26 makes us to know that he was with his son and the holyspirit " And God  said, Let us make man in our image, after  our likeness: and let them have dominion  over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl  of the air, and over the cattle, and over all  the earth, and over every creeping thing  that creepeth upon the earth."
Despite not needing us God still chose to create us out of his love and even made us in his image that sounds nice right? jer31:3 "The Lord hath appeared of old unto me,  saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an  everlasting love: therefore with  lovingkindness have I drawn thee." We were created because God loves us even before we were created.It might be difficult for some to believe but it's true God is love 1john4:8 He that loveth not knoweth  not God; for God is love.
    We were created to fulfil a plan by bringing people to eternal life through Jesus Christ for the ministry of reconciliation according to 2Cor5:19
To wit, that God was in Christ,  reconciling the world unto himself, not  imputing their trespasses unto them; and  hath committed unto us the word of  reconciliation.
We are created for good works Eph2:10 For we are his workmanship,  created in Christ Jesus unto good works,  which God hath before ordained that we  should walk in them.we shouldn't be involved in things that won't glorify God phil4-88 "Finally,  brethren, whatsoever things are true,  whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever  things are just, whatsoever things  are  pure, whatsoever things are lovely,  whatsoever things are of good report; if   there be any virtue, and if  there be any  praise, think on these things."
    What we shouldn't also forget is that we are part of the war between God and Satan by putting our faith in God we can win the battle  Eph6:10-11 Finally, my brethren,  be strong in the Lord, and in the power of  his might. Put on the whole armour of  God, that ye may be able to stand against  the wiles of the devil.
   Notwithstanding we shouldn't forget that since we've been created we have a choice.God doesn't necessarily need us but we need him.   ~Forelarh

AfDB Offers Nigeria $1 Billion Loan to Finance 2016 Budget Deficit

Nigeria got a lifeline on Monday as the African Development Bank (AfDB) said it would support the country with the sum of $1 billion to help it address the N2.2 trillion deficit in the 2016 budget. AfDB President, Akinwunmi Adesina, who disclosed this to State House correspondents after meeting with Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, and the Economic Management Team (EMT) at the State House, Abuja, said the facility would attract a 1.2 per cent interest. This is Adesina’s first official visit to his country of origin since he became president of the bank last year. He said that between 2016 and 2017 the bank would provide the sum of $4.1 billion to Nigeria to fund power, infrastructure, agriculture and the private sector and the Small and Medium size Enterprises financing and lending scheme. Language and Culture Of Ekiti People

Language & Culture The Ekiti is a sub-group of the Yoruba , and indeed their ancestors migrated from Ile-Ife, the spiritual home of all Yoruba . The local dialect is spoken with slight variations in the different communities, but this does not prevent Ekiti indigenes from understanding each other. Christianity, Islam and traditional religions are all practiced. The people of Ekiti are culturally homogenous and speak a special dialect of Yoruba language known as Ekiti. The dialect however varies across locations, e.g. Otun people (in Moba land) speak a dialect close to that of the Igbominas in Kwara and Osun States; the Oke-Ako, Irele and Omu-Oke people speak a dialect similar to that spoken by the Ijumus in Kogi State.
